Content Workflow Engine

Content Workflow Engine

Content pedagogy defines how the content is delivered to the students of the course. Sequential relationships between the learning objects can be defined using the intuitive drag and drop interface. Thus the flow of the entire course content can be defined and the consumption of the same by the students can be defined and monitored. Content lifecycle dates for publishing, consumption, expiry can be predefined by authors and modified as per requirements.

The Rules engine helps the faculty define the rules and conditions for consumption of the content by the students. This is done by attaching rules to the relationships between learning objects. These rules can be completely customized as desired by the faculty. And defining these rules is as easy as clicking on the link between learning objects and selecting the rule to be applied.

Students' Progress can be tracked including measurement of factors such as time spent by individual students on specific course objects, number of attempts for individual quizzes, when they last accessed the course content, etc.

Krawler's Content Viewer enables students to view all types of course content including those created natively in Krawler LCMS or external objects such as SCORM content, Microsoft Documents, Adobe Documents, etc. All course content is visible to the students based on consumption rules and pedagogy defined by the authors and faculty. Faculty can also choose to view the content in the Content Viewer giving them the real look and feel that will be available to the students.
